Since the founding of BUCS Super Rugby (BSR) in 2016, Durham have been crowned BSR champions on two occasions, in the 2019/2020 and 2021/2022 seasons. DURFC have produced countless international players including the likes of Will Greenwood and Will Carling, and more recently Paul Brown-Bampoe and Guy Pepper
To celebrate 150 Years the men's 1st team took on Barbarians RFC, becoming only the fifth university side to play against the iconic Barbarians.
